Marker Bindings

I was looking into getting marker bindings for the upcoming season but I wanted to know the opinions of others and how they work before I purchase them.  FYI I am an intermediate freestyle skier.

It really depends what marker bindings, but overall as a company I really like them, I have never had any problems with mine

Their Jesters as well as their Griffons, Barons and Dukes (that series) have been critically acclaimed. I have heard nothing but good things about the Jesters. Their other bindings are kind of a mixed bag -- some people love them, some people hate them. But overall, they're a very legit company.

i absolutely hate marker, every single marker binding ive had has broken. but ive never tried the griffons orthe dukes, which i hear are really legit.

overall you can do better for the money imo. i have marker bindings on my race skis and i find myself twisting out at that bottom third of a turn where all your pressure is forward and on the downhill ski. the toe piece is incredibly simple compared to look (and affiliates) and tyrolia (and affiliates). i just picked up dynastar px14s off tramdock for $130, so look around.

I have a pair of jesters and they were great, you definitely notice the difference in response from edge to edge, i also have a pair of the old marker mrr (Turntable), and those are the one that i mount on my soft park skis since there is no dead spot created, its a bit heavier, but it definitely holds me in (8-18 din)

i have the markers on my hellbents and have had no problems with them they always hold you in tight i cant rember them giving in on me once. and no damage to them at all. money worth spending

the jesters are OK, but they are wicked expensive for a really basic, mostly plastic binding. The dont have nearly the elastic travel in the heel as a look/rossi, but they are very light.
