A Couple of Days with Birk Irving (9 years old!) from Frank Traylor on Vimeo.

I've seen a couple threads pop up about young skiers lately, so I figured I'd post this. Not really a season edit, more like a few days of filming with 9 year old Birk Irving. Most of this was right after he hurt his arm at nationals as well, this isn't half of what he can normally throw. No joke, kid kills it....

this kid reminds me of this shredder i saw at my local hill, there was this burly cannon box i was scared just to hit it and this 8 year old comes in reppin a tall t with like 5 older kids that were also super gnar and 450s out.  my friend claims he did a 5 over the 45 footer but i didnt see it.

birk was at windells the sesh i was there and he threw down he learned flatspin 3 and backie out of the pipe and was throwing tail 7s

haha damn thats sick. you can see him in the windells sesh 4 edit throwing that backie (?) out of the pipe, which is super sick since at the end of the season he could only frontflip. sounds like he learned a lot, wait for some edits next year....

Oh right he was in hornbecks my bad. he was trying to do double flips, almost got them too, and stompin 10s like crazy. did a couple backflips and was doing good on the rails 270 on. wayyyy better than me i was imbarrassed to go after him haha
