This is just brutal. An off duty cop was cut off by a woman who was driving in a car with her son and in the ensuing conflict was shot twice and her 8 year old son shot once. The officer was charge with negligent discharge of a firearm, but was acquitted (again what can we expect). The woman however admitted that she was under the influence at the time and plead guilty to felony endangerment of a child and a DUI.
