I totally agree. One of my best friends is always complaining about books and movies. Her motto is 'Why read the book when you can rent the movie?' It annoys me so much!!! Anyways...

whenever i bother to read a book it is usually better than the movie. They leave out alot of stuff in the movie.

It's impossible to create the same effect with a movie that was there when a person read the book. Also, there's no way to include all of the things that happen in the book, so there's no chance of the movie being better.

THERE'S A FIGHT CLUB BOOK?????????????????? OH MAN WHY OH WHY DIDN'T I FIND OUT ABOUT THIS SOONER? But ya books are totaly better then the movie, movies force everybody to have a single vision of the story an represses creativity.
