Replying to More sickness from the police state

Basically an off duty cop who was drunk and stopped at a stop light (first offense DUI) was punched. The cop drove around looking for whoever it was punched him, decided he had found the guy and proceeded to pistol whip him which made the gun go off and hit the man in the hand. Turns out that the guy the cop pistol whipped was not the person who assulted the cop. So here we have a police officer who has been driving drunk and then commits assault with a deadly weapon, this man should be in jail for a long long long time, but I think we can all guess what happened, the cop was acquitted and is now free to harm again.

I don't hate cops, they're mostly good people, but they are not above the law and it sickens me that they are treated as such.
