I probably don't NEED 3 pairs of skis, and a double of pretty much every piece of ski equipment I own so I can have one at each house, but hey, it's convenient. And it's pretty much the only thing I want to spend $$ on. I don't need so much hockey equipment either...

^Yeah my dad picks that kinda stuff up from auctions al the time... occaisonally I'll find something I want amidst the junk. Everything we dont want he just throws back in the next auction. At least in theory, we usually end up with some useless stuff.

hey manus, if it is just a natural instinct to aquire things, then why does it seem like mothers buy more usles stuff than fathers? you would think that it would be the father who would buy more stuff, since triditionaly he was the one who would get the food and the money ect. i know that my mom buys alot of usless stuff al the time. most of it is from the home shopping chanel. who ever invented that channel deserves to be beaten
