i'll back this up, at least for the show i saw at U of U last summer.

he did most of the songs from the youth album, but every song was twice as slow with super long wierd intros and outtros, and whenever i think about the show all i can remember is the ungodly amount of time he spent on his "whoooa whooo  whooo" sensitive crooning stuff. my friend was convinced he was saying "iiidahooooooooo" and that he thought we were in idaho because of how many times he said that.

i loved him before i went to see him live, and his show ruined him for me to the point where i heard a giveaway on the radio for tickets the other day, picked up my phone to call in and try and win, then i stopped and thought " i dont even want to win free tickets to this show"

i've heard the live at stubbs and that was super rad. the show i saw was absolutely nothing like that.

one of the best live shows i've seen, but i have heard people say they disliked it. he played a sick version of king without a crown for the encore and he was going nuts as was the audience. he does do some of the slow stuff but he had a good balance of it. the beatboxing was ridiculous as well.
