6'1, on 186s, 181s and 169 park skis. The last ones would be WAY too short if I ever took them out of the park. As a rule, though, tall is taller than you, short is below your eyes, and too short is below your nose. But really, unless you're in deep pow you don't need tall skis. Eye level should be fine.

It's hard to say what 'too short' is. It really depends on what you do, where you do it, how hard you ride, how much you weigh, how tall you are, how experienced you are, etc. There's no magic formula for coming up with a correct length. If it feels long enough, then great.

if you are 6 foot plus you should be on at least 190's if you are shorter than 6 foot than no smaller than 180, 200's are preferable
