A quick word on blocking ads

Basically I NEED a debit card for many reasons and my parents wont let me. I have a job which gives me more than enough money that i need at any one time. I also have a checking account in which my paychecks go directly towards, plus i have an ATM card. By the way i just turned 17.
I dont see why my parents wont let me have a debit card. When you look at it and ATM and debit card are pretty much the same. They extract cash from my checking account, except the debit allows me to do it electronically, big difference right? They say i cant have one on the grounds that ill spend too much and go over my account. However im really good with money and my account only gets bigger every month, never dwindles.
The only reason why i feel its necessary to have a debit card is so i dont have to constantly go to the ATM and withdrawal large amounts of cash consistantly. And i dont like having $100+ in my wallet at any time or even 30, even if i may be making an expensive purchase.
Finally i think the debit card allows me to make online purchases which is where i do most of my spending anyhow, and you cant do that with an ATM. So i always am constantly going to my parents to buy it online which they never get around to.
Thats all the details and maybe some ranting, Ive tried to convince my parents but they always say no. So NS, how about some witty ideas on getting me set up with a debit card so i can buy some T Shirts and Stickers from the NS Store. HELP!!
