Likes: Lots of dope kids and most of the lifties are pimp, sick park once it gets goin, airsite's helpful.
Dislikes:The park doesnt open for a couple weeks after the hill does, even when there's tons of snow they close down in early april, some of the skipatrol are dicks(some arent).
Cascade 'Mountain'
likes- close by. like 15 mins.
dislikes- midwest pretty much sums it up. park has gone way downhill after some insurance shit. used to be one of the sickest parks around. not enough snow. season is pretty short
Eagle Rock, PA
Pros: no lift lines EVER!!!, i ski for free, uncrowded,
Cons: 45 min away, park sucks, twintip populatin: about 2
i guess my biggest dislike of last year was when we had a day with 4 feet in 24 hours at snowbird and it was tough to get past the flat spots on the way out to the lifts without completely stopping because the snow was so deep. talk about a pain in the ass!
Breck- great except for a. Texans

Canyon ski area/ hill.
Likes: uncrowded, some nice people, delicious cheeseburgers, fun to screw around
Dislikes: only 164 meter vertical, one lift that really works, and hour away from home, shitty park, tiny, about 3 inches fresh all year, 90% of the time icy, made in a small valley, if i listed more you would get bored
ski roundtop, PA
pros:
best park out of the closest 3 resorts
5 mins away
park manager is skier
everyone is cool for the most part
cons:
ron hawkes (general manager)
Matt Weeding (think thats his name)
everytime you get on a lift they check tickets even if your the only person there that day
no powder or terrain
really slow lifts
they took out the jbars that you could sit on so you had to hold on to them
little kids carving down the pipe
instructors taking kids into the pipe and park to carve down them and get in peoples way
instructors that can't even go up a jbar without falling to get to the pipe so they have to stop the jbar and it takes forever to get to the top
Ski liberty (not really home mountain)
pros:
okay park
cons:
dick with a megaphone that says it my fault that on a box my ski hits the second polycarb sheet i here a loud bang and my ski stops and may or may not pop off
3 foot long boxes
crowded
Welch Village Minnesota..
Dislikes: 360 foot vertical, really super crazy icy most of the time, almost all the snow is manmade, absolutely full of racers on the weekends, management is completely gay to us, got banned for a week last year even though we work there, there isnt really even a park until january, ski patrols are like a small army all over the hill even on weeknights, lots of rochester and twin cities school kids in the park, gay ski clubs full of 5th graders, lots of foreigners who work at mayo clinic in rochester, the park could be decent but management is like scared to death of getting sued so they don't allow anything to get big at all, the comps are under super tight supervision with inverts not even allowed, way too expensive of food, and just midwest skiing in general which means no pow and lots of ice.
Likes: Night skiing, not many people on weekdays, not many people if its anything under 10 degrees-ish, big lodge area to just chill in and hang out, lots of stoked skiers and riders work there, skiers run the park, park crew is like 10 skiers and 1 snowboarder, all features pretty much set up for skiers, the biggest center hill was changed from racer hill to main park, lifties are pretty chill most of the time, really good fries and atmosphere at the east chalet with live music and fireplace and bonfires and stuff.
