thats a difficult helmet to paint because of the lines and vents.

i painted some checkers on my holt. nothing too complicated yet

you have to use a special spraypaint made for plastics. you can buy it at some auto shops. its more expensive then normal stuff (cost me about $9 a can)

just regular gloss white spray. only cost me a few bucks for the can.

i'm spraying another one of my helmets right now. idk if its gonna be sick or not, but i'll post it on here regardless.

Yeah my I had to even out my paint job with clear coat and I waited for 3 months while it hung up. I can post a couple pictures of the guitars i've made sometime. I've made 2 hah.

It depends on the plastic, but I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you haven't dyed much before. Most helmets, and I am guessing the Patrol, are a plastic but then have a type of clear laminate on the outside. Not to mention it would dye the fabric of the strap, pads, etc. You want to get a special paint for plastic and make some stencils. I've tried painting a couple of it looked decent, but got worn. If I were you, buy yourself a total junker off ebay for $10, and practice different techniques on it. Or pay someone. Spraypaints = bad.

yeah i wouldnt reccomend dying a helmet unless you can find a way to get the shell just by itself. but thats almost impossible unless you wanna re rivent all the straps back on and re epoxy the liner back in.

not a good idea.

i'd stick to spray or craft paint if anything at all
