Who has done it so far?
My friends and i did it on 2 the other day and it was sooo cool.
My one friend has a redbull can as the slide button and a can as a background too.
You can get every app for free cause it gives you the privileges of an Apple Employee

i did it a while ago but i had to restore. i tried to change the boot up logo to an NS and when i turned it off to see if it worked, it died. completely. it didnt turn on or show up on my computer so i had to get it fixed at an apple store.

DO NOT TRY TO CHANGE BOOT-UP ICON YOU WILL GET SCREWED

I've done it to every iPod touch on everywhere firmware my family has owned. It is completely worth it. It is 99.9% safe and is really hard to mess up. If you're concerned with the warranty a simple restore will wipe any evidence you ever jailbroke in the first place. Also it doesn't give you the priveleges of apple employees but rather you download cracked .ipa's (apps) straight to your ipod (no computer needed). Similar to stealing Photoshop. Its wicked sick.

I think that's what we did. My B. But i thought it was a different process than jailbreaking.

i just jailbroke my iphone 3g on the 3.0 firmware. it's ok just there isnt a lot you can do with it cause not everything that works for 2.x will work for 3.0
