Matt Rodriguez is pretty crazy. Most board control out of any skater to be able to ride those.

Do loose trucks help/give an advantage to a particular style of riding?

not really other than being able to carve. it forces you to have a lot more board control. i ride my trucks loose, not as loose as Matt's but pretty loose and I like it a lot more than tight trucks.
