Recording Program?

My friend says he has a program that will record any song playing on your computer, like if you are listening to your wmp or youtubes.

Anyone know what this is?

uhhhh not sure what that is but i'm interested, i know that on zamzar.com you can get songs/videos from youtube...

My friend just told me when i asked him:

For xp, in sound recorder, go to settings or sometihng and switch the via controls to make input output and record when it's playing. sooo yeah..

I know you can use Audacity as well... thats what i used to do before I got a torrent client.

audio hi-jack

and you can also download it as a video and then convert it over to mp3

Yeah Win you want to do that then just use sound recorder. Mac you're going to want Audio Hijack. And Audacity for both. Everybody should have Audacity.
