and to the white skis person, there probably just prototypes, schiller was using some blank coreupts when I saw him at whistler earlier in the year and I asked him about them and he said he was testing out the first batch of his promodel

It's probably old info to some of you, but Jon is still using Crowbars for racing as the Yniq goggles are prototypes. They look not much different from the production models but it wouldn't be super smart to destroy those gates wearing these very expensive prototypes...

I talked to Jon this morning as he cratered quite hard yesterday. First thought: "Are the goggles alright?" After that he started to worry about his neck...

that jump must have been terrifying coming in to it, wow just think going super fast and knowing ur going to go ridiculously big. ha that was so sick. and to the person a few posts up, i agree it was more of a dub cork ten than dj, still sick non the less how ever.

If he just was picked for the Olympics from the Swedish National Team, that would be incredible and it would be a first for skiing.  If he placed well in the Olympics, that would pretty much cement him as the best all around skier ever; period.

Ah thats so sick thats hes racing now. He has dominated freestyle so i guess it makes sense to try and dominate something else! Hes pretty dope at big mountain too right?

Anyone know how they build those jumps so huge and perfect!?

this is nuts.  also, he is so good at freestyle because he spent so much time racing.  racing really helps you learn how to feel a ski.  i raced for 10 years and have been into freestyle for about 4 or 5 years.  without racing i would be nowhere.  so all you posers who think you are bad ass because you straight aired that 50 fter go learn how to ski first.  then when you learn how to really ski, jibbbing and booters will come way more natural.  technique is key.

they're prototypes, symmetrical skis by head(look a ton like the alpha 1's or 2's). he got them in like march, but he said the final design will likely be white with just the head logo.

This guy knows where its at. Some of the strongest skiers have a racing background. It makes me sad when I see a kid who can throw a cork 7 in the park but cant carve a turn on a groomer.
