Me and my friend usually throw rocks at his chickens to fuck with them. Then one day my friend decided to wind one at a chicken from about 90 feet away. Ended up hitting it and breaking its neck. I didn't feel bad cause I realize the chances of that happening are slim so it must have been meant to be...haha We told his mom a coyote got it.

Maybe nobody respects your opinions because we all lost our respect for you from other various reasons (the girls competing against guys thread anyone?), and have turned to the assumption that you are just worthy of the lolz.

Humans are stronger than chickens, naturally higher on the food chain. Meat is part of a good diet for most people, and unless there is some good reason, meat shall be eaten. I would not logically eat tofu in favour of a good steak. Munching on some flesh is where it's at. Chickens and cows and pigs are bred for us to eat. Yes, cruelty sucks, but when I'm hungry I'm not going to be thinking about it. There are many bigger issues to think about.

Speaking of good meals, damn I just had a really good juicy bacon cheddar burger and it really hit the spot.

I'd like to hear a sample of your diet, because what I see in your profile pics doesn't look very vegan to me. Grilled fish/chicken (can't tell), fried rolls of some type, tequila, soda.... etc. Go ahead, and this, coming from a two year health food store employee, (including Wild Oats, back when it was) I have extensive knowledge of these things.

This thread is exactly why I hate straying from the cults on NS. Grow the fuck up and let her eat what she wants. If a person has the correct vegitarian diet, they can have plenty of protein. Too much meat in excess is unhealthy anyways, and most of america eats too much meat. Don't get me wrong, I fucking love meat, there's nothing better than a nice steak after a good exercise but I'm completely against how the animals are treated on most farms. Because of this, I try to stay away from non-organic, non free-range meat because of the horrible things that are done to the animals. You kids seriously have no idea. If most of you saw a chicken farm first hand you'd never want to eat chicken or any meat again.

Plus, the resources that go into those farms and getting that meat to your plate is much more detrimental to the environment than to get vegitables/fruits/etc. there.

Meat is delicious but the way the industry currently is needs to be vastly changed.

Oh, and chickens don't have feelings. The world record for a chicken living with its head cut off is 3 years. It died because it choked on a corn kernel. Shows how much they use their brains.

it was 3 days not 3 years and of course chickens have feelings, it's kind of hard to feel pain when you're pain receptor (your brain) is missing though. it lived because of primal instincts, not because it couldn't feel pain. get a basic education.

I will never stop eating meat.  The animals were put here for us to eat, not stare at.  It has been that way since man kind, it won't change.  We love our steaks too much!  These people that say "animals have rights too" and whatever else are morons.  They don't have rights, well. maybe the right to be a good meal.
