Need advice on a east coast ski trip...

im starting to plan my ski trip for my reading week in febuary of 2010, yea i know its early but its so i can budget for it and make sure i have enough time to make the trip.

so i am located in southern ontario, have a 98 safari van(can fit lots of shit/people) and wanna go somewhere in the east to ski. i dont care if its the states or canada, but i can drink in canada so that would be better, haha.

i have been thinkin about somewhere on the stowe/jay peak/smuggs range in the states, as i had a wicked pow day experience at smuggs a few years back, and also thinkin about tremblant, as i can drive there in half a day.

thoughts? opinions? reccomendations? thanks!

jay peak would be a must-visit. mad river glen is a hidden gem that has some wicked tree skiing. both resorts are state-side.

in canada, there are some very nice parks in quebec, i'm not sure what the 'hot' resort is over there right now but tremblant is always fun.

yea man will do. i was lookin for some locals before my trip 3ish years ago when i went.

i think i might head that way, as i can hit smuggs, jay, and stowe basically at the same time.

yeah theres a growing park scene in stowe, so i bet you could find a bunch of kids on here who ski there. im there every weekend and some weekdays, so if youre going definitely tell me

i would say jay peak for US or tremblant for canada, unless you want park then mt snow would be a good choice

that is not a reason to go there. if you want to go to sunday river for the amount of trails and how packed it still manages to be, go ahead. the parks are average unless they spend some time on them like for the dumont cup. no doubt you will be able to find out if they will have decent parks in 2010 by the fall/winter of 2009 just by checking on here

id hit up vt, mostly jay smuggs and stowe, then mount snow for the park. loon for park, and sugarloaf in maine for a good everything mountain with a great atmosphere. everyone is there to enjoy the mountain.

smuggs for the general resort experience stayed in a condo last season and it was amazing I had three people in my condo it was a 2 bed split level with a couch bed we paid 400ish a piece for 2 nights 2 days of skiing and it was worth every penny. The "fun zone" is a cool place to find chicks its like this game room untill 9 (i think 9) than its a blacklight volleyball game/ dance till 11 amazing choices of bitches to bring back to the after dance condo party. I went as a tag along on a school trip (im from a diff school) so I had a seperate condo to create a rukus

Tremblant can be super sick! i skied there for a week and they got at least a foot for 5 nights straight, plus they got some sick trees, but




















its really really cold there =(
