The Alpha 1 is one of THE most legit park skis, unless you mount them -8 with Dukes....
Rockered skis are sick in the park, because with early taper and rocker you don't catch your tips or tails when spinning off lips. They butter super easy, they kind of open up a whole new set of tricks for you. Plus with the rocker you can get into deeper snow even though they aren't a wide ski.
Really the only disadvantage of rockered skis is that they ski shorter than regular camber skis.
Alpha 1 is a much better quality ski than the El Rey hands down.. better core, base and materials, plus the hybrid sidewall construction beats cap any day.
Alpha 1's are a park specific ski, and Armada knows their shit. They'll be a good jump and rail ski. Just make sure you wax your bases more often than normal and you'll be good.
Check out the Pipecleaners too man, I have them and they're my favorite park ski.
