Wrist/waist bands

do they sell wrist and waist bands at craft stores? if not, do people just cut pieces out of the fabric and make it smaller than the sleeves and bottoms of the hoodies?

they are special fabric called ribbing most fabric stores will have them they are quite expensiv though but you only need a small amount so doesn't matter
