 So i went riding the other day and i like it, a lot. and now i want a bike.... Help with choosing a bike? I've got two here im thinking about.

but the best idea would be to goto a bike shop

so im assuming you want like xcountry type frame? judging by those rides. like everyone else said, go on pinkbike buy and sell. theyll have a lot more

^ no serious downhill i can think of... i live in michigan so not too many mountains etc. so mostly xc trails n stuff

that's the cheapest bike trek makes, it's not that great if you want to do any actual mountain biking. should be fine for really light riding though.

definitely make sure the chain isn't worn and the components are working.


and tell your friend he's an idiot for wanting a jeep bike.

i don't really like ironhuffy or k2, i don't think either would be a great option, maybe look into a cheaper kona xc style bike, first figure out what kind of riding you want to do

seriously you'll find way better bikes for way better prices and plus look at some of the threads there for info on exactly what kind of bike you think will best suit your needs
