I know that Red Deer's is open in July, and Calgary's is pretty much fucked for the season....but im driving down to red deer this summer a few times for sure.

COP is not going to open because it is considered a public out door pool. And AFSA does not have enough money to maintain it like a public pool. If the dont put filters and other shit into it the health people wont let us operate. The only reason red deer is allowed to be open when it is, is because its considered 'moving water'.

haha cop's pool is 1000x times cleaner than red deer and grand prarie, it is just super cold. but seriously I think cop's water moves more than red deers pond just because there is at least wind at cop

this year red deers water is clean, cause it is a moving body of water, gp and calgary's are just stagnant ponds. but the ramps are gonna sick when they open, they started construction last week and part of it was welded in a shop so it should be done in the next few weeks if everything goes as planned.
