i can understand the riding down the middle of the lane totally though. around here people will risk nailing you rather than actually moving over to the other lane, so you have to force them. and really it is legal.


and i agree the dbag bikers ruin it for others. the guys who run lights, and generally disobey traffic laws. they forget that while they want to enjoy sharing the road, that means they also have to follow the laws.

i'm talking in a city, not in the middle of nowhere.

and i feel for the victim in the first post, i'm just saying bikers are annoying as fuck in salt lake.

My friend went to the doctor during the week and got x rayed. It turns out he fractured his pelvis in two places. Now that he has some solid medical evidence the cops filed a report with him... a week later.

He can add a fractured pelvis onto his list of other injuries including;

Broken leg x2 (skiing)
Broken collar bone (skiing)
Broken collar bone x2 (dirtbike)

It's amazing how ignorant people are.  I will agree with the guys who said it is annoying when cyclists are not in their designated lane or do not obey traffic laws.  It pisses me off when people drive so ignorantly, in any situation, it's just fucking stupid.  My Grandpa always said he would be fine going over the speed limit on the freeway, but never on a mountain road or on surface streets.  People these days just suck dick at driving, absolutely suck.  I am amazed that some people are allowed to drive.  haha, especially in CA, so many stupid ass drivers, especially in the mountains.  There is 3 -4 inches of snow on the road, and these fuckheads in a pickup are going 15mph, are you fucking joking?  Then with 25-30 cars behind them, they stop at the top of the hill, with all the other cars sopped on the hill to wave a snowplow out of a parking lot.  Dumb fuckers, luckily we didn't get stuck but some people behind us did, you never stop on a hill.  On another day with a lot of snow on the road, some fat fucker in a small ass Kia passes a bunch of cars, on a turn, and he was going close to 60, fucking fat shit.  Then in the Parking lot, a ski patrol had chased his ass, got out and told the guy this: "If I was a cop I would try my hardest to suspend your license."  Then from there the fat shit kept telling him he was a good driver, he had been driving the road for over 20 years, and had once worked at the resort.  Then, after the fatass, walked in me and my friend let the air out of one of his tires, it was fucking epic.  The guy was a total looser though.  People are such poor drivers now days, it is terrible. 

as a biker myself i get people honking all the time and sometime the occasional stuff thrown at me. i always carry two bottles incase i ever need it but never do so i always got ammo to throw back. il tell you this much... a full water bottle to the back of your car doing 60km/h as i fly by you at a stop sign WILL dent your car. i also love to race people form red lights on my road bike. i snapped a chain one time and almost got run over (my fault). another time i sprinted from a stop sign down a hill on a road that splits around our court house and joins back up, so its got 3 turn in it... anyway i was doing around 65 in the spring so there was still gravel on the road, i made it aroung the fitst corner, and on the second one my back wheel slid out and i fell and slid quite a ways. spandex offers ZERO protection. my whole left side of my leg was road rashed and filled with gravel which i had to suck up the pain and wash out. i waited three days before going to the doctor. got it all payed for by public health care. oh and the car i was racing just drove around me and kept going without asking if i was okay.
