Rossi Scratch 120 vs Solomon STH 12 for park on 2009 Line Anthem

I recently decided to switch to park (at the end of last season) and I like it a bunch so that's what I'm going for all next season.  I got my Line Anthem Spirals and now I just need to decide what I'm going for in bindings.  Those are 2 options, but I'm open.  Please gimme ideas, but I wanna keep it below $200 if at all possible but I might be willing to go a little over.

I really dislike the scratch 120's. The old pivots were awesome, but the new ones are sketchy, i think. both me and my roomie had issues of if we spun too hard they would come off.

the salomon bindings are typically pretty light i think so theyd go well will a park ski like the anthem. it seems like rossi bindings have gotten a bad rep over the years

Soooo...  It seems like most of you are leaning towards the Rossis?  Those are a little less, too so that might be better for me.  Anyone have any bad stories about the scratch 120's?  Any other Rossi models you prefer?

as you go up in the rossi series: scratch 140, 150, etc. the bindings will get better and more durable. however, depending on your size, you might not need a binding with a DIN that goes up to 14 or 15. post your age, height, weight, and skiing ability and we can get a better idea of where you should go within that line. if you're going for salomon, don't go any lower than the STH14 in that line. the STH12 is very similar to the Z12, which is not a binding you want to be using in the park.

you gave us no info in terms of weight, skiing ability, etc. however personally ive always been a big look/rossi fan

personally i have had serious durability/consistency issues with the sth12s. i weigh like 67kg or 147lbs or 10.5 stone i have no idea which of those is most relevant so ive given you all. personally have not tried the rossis. hope that helps slightly

Sorry. I should've known that'd be needed. I'm 17, 5'10" and about 150 lbs. I am into pretty much anything park and have been skiing for about 10 years now but I usually keep my din down at 8 or 9 because I'm also a runner so I have to keep the knees alive at the risk of the rest of my body taking a few hits.

As far as durability goes it is no secret that the Salomon binding has actually held up better the past couple of years over the Rossi/look/dynastar bindings, not something we could ever say about the old pivot binidngs which rarely ever had an issue. The Salomon STH and Marker Royal Family Bindings have been holding up the best the past couple of years.

It's owned by backcountry.com, so yes, it's a reputable site. And if you read the conditions and descriptions, you'll find that a lot of things aren't used at all. Mostly all of the items listed in "excellent" condition are brand new.
