Who says that they are making skis? They are simply exploring the art of staying inside the lines as they colored sweet little poictures for mommy, so that when she picks them up from preschool they can say 'Oh look mother, I have colored the nicest picture for you.' Then their mothers will beat them and put cigarettes out on their faces. I mean, not like that has ever happened to me, I mean, the coloring part... Im gonna go into my room and cut on myself now...

Coyote pretty much nailed it on teh ol noggin. and they are right, the jungle ones look like the hieous Concepts form a few years back. and grpahics is the last thing u seen to worry about. its all about the performance of the ski.

Hi
You all speak about the graphics which has to come in last, but if we had spoken about the wood core or polyexine structure, you would have critized as well. My friend has done a thesis on the ski construction and he has already relations with proriders and ski companies cause he is very implied in the ski background (his pseudo is dahroots)

nice skis, but i think u wanna find out how ur gunna get the $$$ to get a press and all the materials b4 u start worrying about the graphics, u should send some prototypes to ur friends and they can ski on em untill they are perfect, then you can start worrying about how they look

geeze guys give him a break, he's just showing u them to see what u thought of the design. If he thinks he's gonna even say he wants to start a ski company, then he's probably done somethinking, so u dont have to bash him and tell him all that he has to do. I'm sure he knows more than any of u do about what it takes. Btw, don't listen those people who are sayin to hype it. If you're skis are good, and good enough that pros will switch or you'll have good riders on them. That will speak for the skis. Good luck man.

yeah, everythings been done. there's not much new out there. what's your point? I think the real shame here is that BOTH of these designs have been done MULTIPLE times on SKIS in the past few years. There were the Fischer Airstyle's in Camo, and now there are the CR pros in camo... so why design ANOTHER camo ski? is camo really that cool? nah. then we have the jungle concepts and now the new candides doing the palm tree thing. i think once an idea has been used twice already on skis, it needs to take a rest for a few years before it shows up on a third pair.

also, the 1260 / PE comparison doesn't really hold up... that's like saying the new AR5 is copying the PE cause they both have buildings on them, when they are both clearly different concepts.

Skier Dave, why am I making childish comments? In no way are they ingorant outburts of blind emotion, or however one would clarify a childish statement. I said he rer-made the CR promodel. Everyone needs dreams and the drive to persue them, and for that, sure, no for you too, I'll give them credit. It has been explained already that it is absolutely ridiculous what they are doing. Coming on here hoping to hype their shit and make themselves feel good when they aren't really in the buisiness of making skis at the age of 15. It is comedic and when you step into the flames of NS with stuff like that, people here will burn you....badly. It's the nature of the game. They came unprepped. It is basically a pipe dream, and if at first, it was simply and modestly stated as such, not one person would tease them, maybe offer some constructive criticism,artistic or otherwise but generally such would be the extent. Back to graphics now, yes LINE had a DJ on the orange 1260 ski. In the K2 series, we were working on a musical theme. Public Enemy was comprised of three main musicians, Chuck D, Flava Flav, and their DJ, Terminator X. That being said, the DJ is not a main focal point of the graphic as was the 1260 illustration set upon an orange backdrop. Am I supposed to basterdize the cohesiveness of Public Enemy and delete the third member, the DJ because someone used a DJ as a graphic previous to our offering? No way. He is an integral part of the group we worked with, the source of their beats, and thus he is included. DJs go hand in hand with hip hop, and in doing a hip hop ski, you cannot ignore that. I'm sure that makes sense to you, so don't tell me we are biting other people's styles without thinking about it first.
