i love skiing and am not trying to be a debbie downer, but has anyone thought about how far skiing can physically progress? like, any sport where the thing is strapped to your feet is limited. How many more different types of grinds can really be physically done? How much farther past doubles can jumping physically progress? just would love to get some feedback on this thought.

i see your new to NS, so ill give you a pointer. the little bar at the top right corner of your screen is the searchbar. use this to search for a topic you think may have already been discussed. if it already exists, dont make another. if it doesnt already exist, go to town on that shit

I think there're tons of possibilities they just aren't really accepted yet.
I mean look at the transformation snowboarding has gone through over the past couple years
or what skateboarding has become.

I think in the next couple years skiings gonna become a completely different sport
but all for the better! (more styles = more progress)!

It will progress.  It doesn't have to be bigger flips or more switch ups, but we will progress.

I dont think personally i will ever have to worry about doing anything past a triple flip. Seeing as if i land one my life will be complete, but i probably will never be so good that i cant physically be better.

i have seen a triple done in a teaser of snowboarding before over just a park table, itll go places
