My son is going session 3, and I can't wait to fly out with him to see this beautiful part of the country!! This will be his first visit to Windells, and he is super stoked! I'm curious what you guys wear when the temps are so warm, and yet you need to be covered good so you don't get all beat up. Or don't any of you fall  :D Do you just dress like you normally would in the winter, and shed layers as needed? Anyway, I'm new at this so bare with me :)

give him everything he would have for the winter but stock him up with extra tall tees and extra longsleeve undershirts i like waffle thermal style the best. he'll know what to wear when hes out there it may be colder during the morning but afternoon it will get pretty hot. make sure he has bandanas or t-shirts to use to block the sun from his face because the sun gets real burly when up at a glacier. even try cutting sleeves off old t-shirts that he doesnt care about and use those if he wants to be unique since everybody uses bandanas these days

has it been a pretty good snow year at hood this year? i'm headed out session 6 and i'm wonering if it'll hold up pretty well until then (july 27th-August 1st)

they'll be bigger in a couple weeks. last year the level 1 stepover was 65-80 ft, depending on how you took it. It got smaller as the days went on. The bigger jumps at windells were a 45 foot stepdown and I think a 35-40 foot table. The public park had a 50 foot stepup. Hopefully they're built WELL this year, last year they were pretty good but they sketched them out halfway through by making the jump line progressively smaller in the public park. Windells always has a decent setup.

That's for the public park. Windells has a 55 foot stepdown and an 85 foot super poppy step-over.

both parks are in prime condition, but youll be lapping windells little jump line all day because thats where the tow rope is, and it gets slow so wax at least every other day. this summer will be damn sick, get stoked.
