i have met plenty of red blooded americans that think the US is going to dominate the worlds daily agenda for all of eternity. for all of you i have this to say:
the united states position as the worlds most dominant superpower will come to an end within our lifetime. china will be taking over that position. while china may be communist, it is supported by a market share economy that is progressing hastily and they have the population to back it - over a billion people - something that america simply cannot compete with.
as for ronald mcbush's effective foreign policy? mutually assured destruction should take care of that.

thomas jefferson said that every country needs a rebellion every 100 years to clear out the corruption of men and to pick up the pieces, but only the pieces worth keeping. The states prevents revolution by creating a 'police state' horribly intimidating security forces and judicial systems. - Vast reserves of oil
- The largest supply of fresh water in the world
- The 2nd largest diamond mine in the world (in yellowknife, it has thrown the entire world economy off balance..De Beers owns 90% of the world'
s diamonds, and all that money went to the states. Now we have the quality and the amount.
- A peaceful, productive relationship with most of the world
- No military to speak of, and no one shoots an unarmed man
- We will soon have a huge, steady economy, unweakened by an overseas war.
- Our country is not the target for terrorist attacks
- And we're so fucking cool

wow, i like how i go to the end of this profile and the topic of conversation has become Thomas Jefferson. I think i'll bring this thread back to topic tho. I'll probably get shit for this, but i really think that Bush has escalated the transfer of economic power away from America. Its inevitable that China or possibly some other country would become the new power, but Bush really hasn't helped much. The free trade has been shifting jobs and goods away from America to countries with cheap labor. Also, the world opionon of the US is down since the war on Iraq, and that's not gonna help. Breakout of mad cow and Bush's lack of effort in controlling the meat industry isn't making things better either.

What? are you serious? aldultery is bullshit, it's a western sin, created to keep the machine working smoothly, to keep productive couples together so they can go to their 9-5 and help build the country. it has much to do with 'goodness'. have you heard of traits like loyalty? character? integrity? without such rules, given we have live in a society dominated by patrial foundations, women would be treated as pieces of meat. we have been trying to transcend from traditional ways to give women more rights in all forms for a century or more. so your saying we should revert to cavemen ways were we club the hoes over the head and then cork them left and right without remorse? to say adultery is a western ideal makes no sense whatsoever...its a human agenda for all. it makes sense and men and women will agree.

You have to evaluate 'What you have vs What you could have', and see if you're willing to risk it. If you are, how can you be held accountable? Sure, you might hurt someone, but as I say 'Other people don't hurt you, You hurt yourself'. Im going to make myself happy before I try to make others happy.
My dream world? My dream world is 1000x more interesting than your 'real' world. I'll stay here I think. The man? The flavour of the week?
