my friend used to take poops and play pokemon red. he was like 18. and last semester, a few of my friends downloaded pokemon on their computers and played until they beat it. they're 20/21. come to think of it, i downloaded it last summer and played while boozin a few times. good times. haha

I do this when I am going to the place I ski for a whole weekend. It is about 2 hours away and pokemon helps pass the drive.
Playing pokemon is not immature, being an obnoxious human being in general is but not quietly playing pokemon on a car ride.

Yeah me too.  I love having a license I get to ski way more.

But I sometimes play Pokemon on long car rides, its really easy for me because I have it on my iPod.

i don't play on the way to skiing because i'm always driving, but on long ass road trips/flights, fuck yeah pokemon. it's all about yellow though.

and it's no more immature than calling people out for being immature on the internet

Video 2nd Gen
Go here and install this on your iPod, pretty detailed instructions on the site:
http://www.rockbox.org/
Then it will install a Gameboy emulator, which works with Color and original Gameboy Roms (up thru Pokemon Crystal) Instructions on how to put roms on it are hidden somewhere in the manual, and I don't remember what ROM sites are legit or not.

Why must maturity be based on the playing of a video game that happened to be created for a younger crowd but nevertheless could make the older crowd just as happy or pleased?

In my opinion, fighting on the internet is as mature as you can get...

Maturity aside, pokemon got me through the last weeks of school. It makes me smile :)

im currently playing platinum and ill be 18 in a month.... who cares? alhough i must admit i dont buy ds games, i get them for free. either way, i'd probbaly see myself buying it if i had to. pokemon games are amazing nomatterhow old you are, no one can deny that.

ahah I can remember my parents packin up the car for the long drive from hamilton to collingwood for a weekend of skiin. I was probably like 9. Gameboy Color and Pokemon Blue was what it was all about.
