Wait for blackberry storm 2?

so my phone is up and i cant really decide what im gunna get. my mom has the storm now and it has to many glitches but the new storm is supposed to come out sometime soon. or do u guys think i should wait for it or just get a curve or one of the ones that are out now?

i didn't like my storm. glitched to much. it also was a pain to text on alot. like it you wanted a full keyboard youd need to flip it and then sometimes it will flip to a non full keyboard. it was over all annoying. then i got the voyager and love it

problem with all this is paying 30 bucks a month for the data plan that you probably will end up using 10 dollars (atmost) worth of

well if you're gonna stick with verizong, the storm would be a good choice.

but for at&t, the new iphone 3gs is gonna be amazing, cant wait to pick it up.

my parents dont have a problem with me getting a iphone or and blackberry or what ever, its all in the stupid contract that you HAVE to get. and even phones with wifi require you to get a data plan to use it

Yep, average life time(span one holds on to their cell phone) in the US in 1 year and a month.

Now the Storm 2 will get rid of the push down touch and i will say that it will be more like the iPhone....if thats a good thing.

I need a business phone... I'll probably get a bold. I don't really see the use of the storm. I imagine it's much slower to type on, and typing stuff is the whole point of the blackberry.

i hate cell phone plans so much. our 3 people plan is as much as a fucking car payment.... personally id rather have a car than a damn cell phone. The wireless companies are getting rich as fuckkkk

Well really you should look at whether or not you truly need a BlackBerry. I mean, if you're going to be using it for work email and stuff, that's great, but if not, the average user doesn't need a BlackBerry. So I'd look at whether you want a feature phone or a smartphone.

Verizon has some great touchscreen feature phones -- like the LG Dare, the enV touch, the Voyager and the Samsung Glyde. They've also got a bunch of BlackBerrys -- the Storm, the Curve, etc.

If I were you and I truly wanted a BlackBerry, yeah I'd wait for the Storm 2. When I tried the original Storm, I couldn't get over the fact that the whole screen clicked. I don't think it was the best design choice, because when you're typing you have to wait for the screen to depress before clicking another key. It's just slow and awkward. Definitely wait for the Storm 2.
