Can we just bomb the living shit out of North Korea already?

Havent made a post in a while so here goes:

I personally think its time we blew the dust off our awesome nuclear warheads and "Test" them out say... (Latitude: 39° 1' 10 N, Longitude: 125° 45' 17 E (Pyongyang) and make some sweet posters out of the sweet mushroom cloud pictures after. I think its time we (the Obama administration) quits sweet talking everyone and finally just demonstrates our enormous power over our evil enemies for sweet glorious USA.

No but seriously. How can the State Department just let them steal our, albiet ultra liberal, CITIZENS and just let them sentence them to 12 years in forced labor. Don't get me wrong, I personally think these ladies are extremely retarded for stepping anywhere near 1° of global coordinates of the glorious DPRK, but still, Al Gore bitches or not, they deserve better than to be what the Chinese claim as abducted by some renegade backwards shitbox of a "state"

And this is directed towards all of Washington, not just Obama. Last year, we removed North Korea from our blacklist/axis of evil/foreign threats/ terror supporters w/e you want to call it. This appeasement must not happen. Wanna know what happened last time we appeased a head of state? Oh yeah, 6 million jews died. While sweet talk and moral equivalancy might just work in bringing peace to the Middle East, heads of state are not as easily persuaded. Where the nationals and regligious of the middle east are fighting primarily over identity, the DPRK purely wants more power, influence, security, and perhaps even imperialism? Thus there is only one question to be asked: What happened to good ol' American badassedness? Where the fuck is Bushy when you need him? We finally have a country we can legitimately go in and bomb the living shit out of, and we hold back on it.

Seriously, swim that big ol' submarine off the coast, and bring some nuclear winter on their sorry little asses. Hey Kim Jong Il, that little stroke you had last winter is nothing compared to the 2 megaton explosion about to happen all over your face.

Yeah, sit back and test your "ICBMs". When all's said and done there won't be mutally assured destruction. Only Korean (north) assured destruction, or as I like to say, KAD.

But in all seriousness, dont you think it would at least be appropriate, if not optimal to send some DEVGRU SEALs or Delta Special Forces to illegally rescue these women, much like the way Delta failed in rescuing the Iran contra hostages, or the way CIA/Moussad killed all those dudes after the olympics? Or how bout when DEVGRUs flew all the way from Little Creek, VA and parachutted off the coast of Somolia to headshot those 3 pirates and rescue that captain? C'mon man.

why would china nuke us, it seems like everyone hates north korea, id' only be worried for south koreans, we would have to kill everyone in north korea, just wipe out the whole country, basically if we don't, they'll do it soon enough

Exactly, although china trade with the N Koreans their shit scared of them having nukes, they even had talks with the S Koreans about what to do, well, nothing by the looks of it atm.

China's so indifferent on the situation its not even funny. Seriously, its not funny. China take a side, or we'll take one for you. On one hand, China's got to save face and "defend" its communist little brother. On the other hand, China thinks its little brother is a huge tool and sucks dick and really wants hang with the cooler kids like the USA.

I think the UN, whatever that means, would love us bombing the shit out of norht korea. Everything the UN does, the DPRK just says, you do this, we bomb nuke! Like in april or w/e  when north korea tested a rocket, the UN was like bitch ,what? Sanctions! But then North Korea was like if you sanction us, we'll launch an ICBM. They were also like if you don't apologize, or sanction us ever again, "we will take extreme [read: nuclear] actions in retalliation"

obviously your retarded, it is well known to me, nevermind journalists, that you can't enter North Korea illegally and you definetly cannot go there as journalists to report the plight of defectors. Botom line they acted on their own accord and they knew it was illegal and now they are going to face the consequences of that, the United States isn't going to risk nuclear war for two stupid journalists, and they shouldn't. If there were to be war against North Korea this would be the last reason for it to occur.

And obviously the journalists are goddamn retarded, but htere is a high chance they never crossed the border. The Chinese suggest that the reporters were abducted near the border and imprisoned.

Im saying we should go to war with them over the increasing number of bullshit events taking place on that sorry penninsula this year. How many rockets and nukes are we gonna let them test with no reprimand whatsoever? How many US Citizens are we gonna let you kidnap for bargaining chips?

Lets just step aside from the middle east as Obama's popularity there is seemingly at an all time high... and literally bomb the shit out of north korea. Better yet, Obama should use that charisma of his and give a speech to terrorists and have terrorists suicide bomb North korea to bits. That would be the best case scenario for the world.

Hold the bombing of North Korea back until I am in space, so that I can look down of the complete ideocracy  of superpower leaders and its even dumber followers and believers that destruction and horror automatically "fixes" all problems.

Really, how the FUCK are we going to progress when scum still want to fight. Dammit, why is our history filled with wars and not discoveries to enhance our lives. When will prosperity restore itself?...we were doing so well in the 60s. But now we have receded, religion and war has overshadowed scientific discovery from the 70s to today. There are more ways to destroy people than to save them. I hate this world. The leaders of today should be removed to guarantee a future for ourselves. Have you noticed the ennemy never changed since the 70s? so we are fighting the problems caused by our previous generation, and there are no signs of the end. There are always 2 parties that contribute to the problem.

You guys may can ultimately destroy each other, id rather be dead or away from this world where I have not helped at all to destroy.

In the 60's we were in the midst of... oh shit what was that thing called? OH YEAH THE COLD WAR YOU FUCKING IDIOT. Go google what the cold war was. No it was not fought in antarctica. We also were involved in the vietnam war by 1959 where 58,209 US soldiers died (Compare that to 4,977 in Iraq and Afghanistan combined). Not to mention Russia threatened to compeletely destroy us with nuclear weapons by sending them to cuba... Oh yeah  A PRESIDENT WAS ASSISINATED IN 1969.

Also, do you have any clue how many inventions and scientific inventions have come as the result of war? Radar, the internet, television, modern telephones, digital mobile phones, GPS, satellites, fiber optics, penicillin, pretty much 50% of all common surgeries, modern engines, airplanes, jets, etc were all invented by the United States Military (with the exception of a few of the questionable ones in there).

I would like to see you argue that modern warfare (1970-present) has killed more people than it has saved directly (result of the military conflict) or indirectly (result of inventions, tactics, methods, and discoveries made by military)

Lately north korea, as im sure you know if you watch any news at all, has been testing rockets, missles, and developing nuclear technology all un checked and in direct violation of UN resolutions. And theyre doing all of this to provoke mainly the USA, but all western in their words "imperialists". We can't just sit by and do nothing, eventually something bad will happen in the region, or worse it will give inspiration and motivation for even more radical and violent peoples.

And im operating under the assumption the US CITIZENS were abducted and were never actually inside DPRK.

And to further illustrate the absurd propaganda and hatred DPRK spews, this is taken directly off the english version of the DPRK state run media:

I am fucking furious they were sentenced to 12 years forced labor. I have done alot of research about NK and these are concentration camps that are filled with citizens guilty of dissent and it's basically slavery. A complete violation of human rights, and unfit for ANYONE, especially two of our citizens. These women should be extradited and tried in the United States or South Korea...I'm almost positive the women would not survive the abuse they will receive for being from America, or the 20 hour work days for 12 years. I know we can't bomb them, but a recon mission to anonymously assasinate Kim Jong would be the next best thing. These women are in my thoughts. Fuck.

im gonna say this though...  there is a reason why even the press is told to not go anywhere near north korea.  im not saying they had it coming and im also pissed off but its one of those things as a reporter you have to sit and think yeah, i want the story and to show the world whats happenening but is this really the right thing for me to do?

You should remember that there were 8 known attempts to assassinate Castro, obviously unsuccessful attempts-- think about the ramifications in NK, if we went ahead with what you're calling for and failed.

also to clear up a bit about the Missle Crisis, the Cubans and the Russians had separate agendas during the course of the crisis. The Russians were worried about the missle gap (which favored the US, not Russia, despite what was said by JFK) While Cuba, on the otherhand, was affraid of a US invasion; The US actually had plans for invading Cuba in October of '62.  (American naval and military unites were already being deployed/training for an invasion before the beginning of the crisis.)

In the middle of the crisis (where there actualy was a stand off between the Russians and the Cubans over who controlled the missles) the CIA innitiated operation MONGOOSE, which blew up a factory in cuba, killing 400 people, according to the Cubans.

 Imagining back then how close the CIA terrorist activities came to ending the world (had the roles been reversed Kennedy surely would have reacted); it seems world innialation would be nearly innevitable if this went on in NK today, not only how NK would react, but the grounds that would be granted to other terror based organizations with blatant US disregard for law.
