ive never been to ohio but i always though about how bad it would be to go to miami of ohio instead of university of miami

people saying NJ are stupid.  Beach is  45 minutes away.  NYC is 20 minutes away.  Mountain is 30 minutes away.  We have a decent season and Mountain Creek has a great terrain park.

I live in a beautiful suburban neighborhood, with great schools and stores and friendly people.  It can get boring sometimes but where can't it?  We have warm summers, mild falls, cold winters, and warm springs.  You get a little bit of everything.  Theres hoods in Trenton, Camden, and Newark and guidos down the shore, but northern NJ is beautiful and not in the middle of nowhere.

I'd never want to live somewhere where there is no skiing

Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, any of the New England states.... they all suck dick. I'd rather move back to Indiana, the greatest state on earth.

Ive lived in Nebraska and it sucked dick, there was nothing to do and all the highschoolers do is drink. The town and county I used to live in had the highest drunk driving death rate in the country. So I'm glad I got out of that shithole. Iowa isnt too bad as long as you are nearby one of the bigger cities like Des Moines, Davenport, Dubuque or Cedar Rapids. There are also quite a few ski hills scattered around so it keeps me happy. Only thing I hate are the liberals in this town and the fact that we have shit/ice winters.

As soon as I get out of college I'm heading off to Indiana or Kentucky.

i dont hate it at all. i was in boston for about a week recently and i wouldnt mind living there at all. i really enjoyed the city and all of the towns around it.

Honestly...Texas and Florida at least have a few cities that you could live in which can be a lot of fun.  Compare that to say Alabama or Mississippi where no matter where you are, it is going to completely suck.  Sure, there is no skiing, but you could survive.  As long as I was in a city, I wouldn't be happy, but could survive in Florida (Miami), Texas (Austin), Louisiana (New Orleans), etc.

But Alabama and Mississippi....I would probably go crazy.

The same would probably be true for North and South Dakota, too.

Any state thats in the Central Time Zone, excluding Texas, MIchigan, and Wisconsin.  I like living in New York... I'm a day trip away from anything i would want.

i'm pretty sure he wasn't saying that MA was better then california, just that MA wasn't as bad as people are saying. and i have to agree, i'm from CT, and i love MA. boston is such a cool city, and the cape is awesome too. plus springfield, worchester and a lot of the suburbs are pretty legit too. and on top of that, they have the patriots, the red sox, the bruins, and other teams. so yeah, MA is actually a sick state IMO

sorry for the double post, but also, new england is a lot better then people give it credit for. rhode island has great beaches, CT has decent beaches and a great music scene, MA has boston and the cape, Maine has good beaches and great ski mountains, new hampshire has some decent beaches and mountains and everyone there is really nice; the whole state has a small town vibe, and vermont has awesome ski mountains, burlington, and other cool places to go.

overall, it's a lot better then people give it credit for, and this is just in the entertainment/skiing sorta stuff

but anyway, if i had to pick a least favorite state it would probably be kansas or nebraska. i just feel like the whole state is flat and it sucks all the time there
