The Best Documentary of 2009: HOME

This is by far the most hard-hitting and inspiring documentary I have ever seen. Think of it as Planet Earth, combined with the message of The Inconvenient Truth. Now I understand that some people may view The Inconvenient Truth as a political propaganda and I can see that, but this, in my opinion is indisputable. If anything, you should just see it for the amazing cinematography.

Now it is an hour and a half long movie, so find some time, grab yourself a seat and just watch it.
It is amazing.




We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth's climate.

The stakes are high for us and our children. Everyone should take part in the effort, and HOME has been conceived to take a message of mobilization out to every human being.

ya just finished it and it was absolutely sensational
also with the whole simultaneous release on dvd theater and internet it seems like a pretty revolutionary film
it will definitely be sticking with me for awhile

If you liked HOME definitely check out BARAKA (I think thats how you spell it)
It's way more neutral but a truly mind blowing movie

baraka is a rediculous movie. i remeber the first time i watched it was in a social studies class in high school and everyone was sleeping through it except for me and my friend who were just amazed

I really liked the visuals in this movie, but I would rather have another narrator or at least some more speakers to mix it up. Also some of their background seemed a little weak.
