I've found that Myxer doesn't really work that well on Verizon. The ringtones that get sent over tend to be lower in quality.

mobile17.com tends to work pretty well. Just make sure that the file that you want to use is an mp3 (not an mpeg4 iTunes file) and upload it. You'll also want to know where in the song (in seconds) you want the ringtone to start and how long you want it to last (40 seconds max).
