Yessir I agree, I actually made the strings shorter after I saw how long they were in the picture. With all the seams and such it was shorter than I had planned for, so I added an extra inch on the bottom to make it taller.
i havent been sewing latley besides small thingslike just fixing shit. i want to make a serr sucker type thing like that jiberish sweatshirt. anybody got any tips with working with different fabrics, and with zippers? i fucking hate zippers.
i made a seersucka replica for a fellow newschooler. fabric is super easy to work with. and for zippers, just make sure you measure multiple times! haha can never check too many times
thought most NS'ers would enjoy this. recently made this for Mr.Sloth. it is an all black hoodie with a camo wu tang logo. custom made for him. if you want something custom made then message me or check my sig. be sure to like Unbound Clothing Company on Facebook! thanks guys!!
damn! these are all really sick. does anyone have suggestions for someone that has never really sewed before? some simpler projects before i try a sweatshirt?
dont be intimidated! take a cheap sewing class and get inspiration for what you can male! sweatshirts are actually pretty simple. its all just thinking about how you want it and what you have to do to get it to that point! good luck
You can honestly hop right Into it. A sweatshirt is the first thing I ever made. Really all you need to do is get a good pattern and the rest is so easy
late response but yeah i finished it saddly i fucked up the arms a little so its bunched a little where the arms connect to the body but you can't notice it when its on. All in all im super happy with how it turned out!
