going to make my first today. since its my first it doesnt have to be great quality fabric is walmart fine? i dunno where to get fabrih but i have made hoodies before but they were just cutting hoodies and sewing together

If you can find sweatshirt material there, I suppose...

It's always better to find an actual fabric store as they'll have better selection. If you need help, this cult finally has a hoodie tutorial made (by me).

orage and some other companies did some light hoodies with a thin knit that's almost like tshirt fabric, you just do a top fabric and then a lining.

they generally don't carry many fabrics far beyond quilts and pyjamas. it's frustrating

What is the material name for t-shirts? Cotton?

it's just jersey knit. it usually seems to have spandex or some synthetic in it. if you find 100% jersey knit cotton, you found gold.

What if you just bought t-shirt fabric sheets? They sell bed sheets that are jersey knit, i dont know how expensive they are but its a thought.

i probably should have quoted jenifa or the dood that was looking for tshirt fabric at the top of this page. on an unrealted note you guys have made talent. i am INSPIRED everytime i come in this thread. i print tshirts but dont have a sewing machine or the space for it. the stuff you guys do is amazing though
