Wow. It's funny to see all the contrast between the two sports. In skiing if you're arms are up in the air/flailing people will say you have bad style. But in that thread people were saying it looked stupid.
Rollerblading is a mature sport. They've already gone through all the stages and fads and style to get where they're at today. Skiing is still a very young sport going through that stuff. We haven't developed enough yet to compare to sports like rollerblading, snowboarding and skateboarding. Skiing is still finding it's identity and progressing.

i'd also like to point out, that although afterbang ARGUABLY looks good in skiing, i dont think all skiers should adopt it. i mean really. and on rollerblades, as a rollerblader, it looks completely retarded.
i am honestly tired of skiers trying to quantify rollerblading in terms of skiing and rollerbladers doing the same vice versa. for any sport. skateboarding "style" is not quantified by FMX. style is just recognized. it is anything done in control with personal flair added on. it has nothing to do with another completely different activity.
