hey i am looking just for a little advice for my road test and I have had my license for like 9 months but i am taking a pretty big car and I am running into a little bit of difficulty parallel parking any tips would awesome thanks
Drive up next to the car. Back up so the other car's back end is a 1/4 car length from the back end of your car. Start backing up and crank the wheel until your car is 45 degrees from the curb. Straighten out your wheel and go straight back until you're almost at the curb and then crank your wheel again and back the rest of the way in.
Make sure your right hand blinker is on before you pass the spot. Pull up parallel to the vehicle in front of your sport about 2 feet away from it. Put your car in reverse and once you car's half way point is lined up with the back of the car that will be infront of you, crank your steering wheel to the right until your vehicle is at approx. 45 degree angle with the curb then turn it straight again. Once you get your rear wheels with in a foot or you have enough room to clear your front bumper to the car in front of you, turn your wheel back to the left until your car is parallel to the curb once again. Finally adjust the space between the car in front of and behind you, although if you do it right, you shouldnt have to change much. Your done!
Oh yeah, make sure to check your side mirror before you swing your door open, especially if it is a busy street ;)
pull up next to the car, back up straight until your side view mirror is next to their front door, then stop, cut the wheel alllll the way right, go back untill your 45, then start pulling back stright untill you clear their bumper and then stop, cut it all the way back, and strighten out.
as much as anyone can tell you, the only way to learn is go out and do it like 50 times in a row
