i recently bought myself a 5dollar wayfarer clone, i pushed out the lenses and painted it white, i'll post pics when paint/varnish is dry and lenses are back in, i think the result will be sweet...

that's funny. you're totally the first guy to do that... you're so original, REALLY clever. I'm glad that you can tell from a shitty webcam picture that they are fake, really you're input is so necessary.

I bought gloss black/grey lens frogskins from my shop

I bought neon yellow/fire lens off NS

then I bought the turquoise arms off BRYCE on NS (because he lost his 4-legged and had an extra set of arms)

then I took the gloss black frame, the fire lens and the turquoise arms and made them^

and if they were fake, none of the parts would have fitted together.

is there a difference between the construction of the old original frogskins and the ones currently being produced?

the new ones have plastic hinges and the old ones have metal i believe
