Im planning on buying one of these, basically what i want is the best bang for my buck,
as mentioned im still not sure whats gonna be the most fun and or going to deliver the coolest results.
Helmetcam: +II'd buy a helmetcamera because its easyto operate, you can use it on virtually every run and i like helmet cam edits (+id get a wideangle lens helmet cam)
- I dont know what makes a helmetcam a good helmetcam and i'd want one that delivers quality images and is easy to operate/manipulate
HD video camera: +Quality images, i'd also want one where i can fix a wideangle lens+ filters and that has smooth zooming and focussing, so i want to be able to do that mechanical or very smooth auto (wich i havent seen yet) I really like to make edits, untill now i use my crappy 4mp photo camera
- Price, risk of getting one that doesnt do everything i want (if i get a camera, i want to use it for timelapses, overlays, shallow depth images and all thos rather tech-photo-tricks), its really expensive and i still want to do my daily riding so im affraid ill end up leaving it at home because its too delicate
Photo camera, reflex camera, i dont really know how its called in english
+Interchangeable lens, 100pct manually adjustable, i can put on whatever lens/filter i want, i can manually focus/zoom+ i understand you can make rather decent movies with these as well
-Incredible price range 200dollar-2000dollar, i dunno where to go, and it is rather burly just like the HD camera, i dont know wether il still be doing skiing as much....
Main usage these things will see are skiing, 50/50 park and powder, some backyard edits and longboarding (helmetcam mounted on longboard = GODLIKE)
Oh and just in general i like photography of everything, iver never really owned a good Video camera so i dunno wether ill like it as much....
