yeah dude. i'm sick of getting shit talked in the park because of my tight pants when i wear them. but i honestly don't care anymore, it's just something to laugh about. i have absolutely no problem with people who wear tall tees and xxl pants. i never call them wiggers or posers or wanksters. i don't think i should be called an emo faggot for wearing slim pants.
but at the same time, there have been like 78 threads saying the same thing. posting threads won't help, time will. once different styles start to develop in skiing and be seen as more "normal," there won't be as much hate, because johhny tall tee won't be so shocked by seeing billy mcsurface roll by rocking some skinny pants and a sweater.
i run this shit blood in blood out every day
my style in general was baggy shit before i even considered skiing essential to life...
With the words of henrik himself:
" I wish that skiing would be like music. It doesn’t have to be hip-hop though, but everyone doing their own style."
I myself dont wear baggy pants, neither tall t's, i carry my beacon everyday, even inbounds, i allways carry my backpack, nonetheless i somehow end up in the park in the afternoon, sessioning with the boarders and parkrats, they learn from me, i learn from them.
Last year i learned to appreciate hiphop and dubstep and i made friends for life in a french skiresorts allmost 800miles away. They learned me park, i teached them powder. They wore baggy stuff and i tought it made their 360's look like 1080's, i found this awesome!
Today i listen to Gangster rap, rock, reggae, dubstep, elektro, house, classic music, country, etc.
And offcourse everything in between,
same goes for skiing i dont mind at all when people wear by example a lumberjack shirt ( as i do :D ) on top of baggy pants !
Diversity is what makes us newschoolers otherwise we couldnt be hating on eachother :D
I think we're all forgetting what really needs to be discussed... should it be afterbanged or afterbung?
But seriously. I don't understand why anyone really cares whether people wear tall t's or not. Just wear what you want. The only thing I don't like about this whole baggy trend is that all the movements made while skiing are blocked by the baggy clothes. I mean, I guess thats the point, but thats what real skiing looks like, and thats what I enjoy watching.
We should turn this into a 'guess the next trend is skiing thread'. I'm gunna go with formal wear. Like khaki's and a nice blue sport jacket and tie with a nice white dress shirt underneath (tucked in ofcourse). I've noticed a few rappers have started doing this, I think Kanye does but I'm not sure. But yea, thats my guess
lets put it this way...... If your wearing ridiculously Tall T's acting "thug" and are not a true fan of hip-hop music, you have no business dressing that way. Not that people who do listen to hip-hop automatically have business dressing that way, its just an obvious aspect and influence of the style that has to be understood before you throw on Gangster looking shit. If your throwing on ridiculously oversized shit, throwing up gangsigns, etc, without even really liking hip-hop music, yea you are just biting someone elses steeze and I will think your a giant tool. Anyone feel me on this?
i lol'd
Its going to be my signature
