Skis/Longboard

I am trying to decide whether to get a longboard right now or buy skis, the skis are thalls from 07/08, i just want to get some opinions on which i should get right now because its summer

well if your gonna have money when it comes time to ski then wait and buy ski's then. if you wont then buy the skis now.
