Why wasn't Jon Brogan at this years Level 1 park shoots?

I just read the updates on level1.com and didn't see Brogans name. kinda pisses me off. he would have been sick at those mamoth shoots.

I don't know but I DO know that Mr. Brogan filmed some great stuff with us this year in PA along with Sean Jordan. Yeah Brogan, Killing it!

Are you really as dumb as you sound on the internet?

PA has some of the worst skiing in the states. Therefor, you  can't shoot a good segment from there.

But I am guessing it is all urban stuff so it doesn't matter where they were shooting.

He doesn't sound nearly as dumb as you....  The actual skiing and terrain may not be ideal, but they can make sick parks, just like anyone else with some ambition and drive to build some cool features...  I'm pretty sure that the Meatheads have filmed good segments in much worse terrain...  I can't wait to see some PA park shoots in their new flick!

I'd beg to differ.  The size of the jumps I've seen this year from some mountains around the area have been fairly large and film worthy.

Brogan took a few weeks off of school to come to Level 1's Keystone, Eclipse, and some CO urban in April...couldn't swing the May shoots however. Isn't this topic a beaten dead horse by now anyway?

I'm from PA. Brogans home mountain of Big Boulder definatley has large film worthy jumps. See Sean Jordans superunkown/any of brogans edits.

But yeah i posted this question in the thread about the L1P mammoth shoot and berman said pretty much the same thing as the guy above me

clarification
a)i ski in PA. 
b)Big Boulder has one of the best parks on the east coast, and they built a 70 footer  this season
c) wallisch,  brogan, seanyJ, nipples, killens, and ton's of other talented riders learned in PA.

I've skied at Big Boulder a few times and I can tell you that it is straight up ignorant to think that the jumps there even compare to the size and quality of the jumps out west at places like Keystone and Mammoth.

Sure, the jumps and rails at Boulder are good for the East, but they are nothing compared to the size of these jumps the pros film on.

If you weren't at Camelback this season at all in March they had one of the best jumps PA has ever seen and I guarantee that.  About 65-70 feet of pure bliss.  Easily worthy of film shots.

brogan is getting his education on, not everyone can just dip from school for weeks at a time. his shots for this year are illly and youll see aton from him next year.

it was huge, but it was ugly as hell, which could be changed and the backdrop is ugly as hell, which cannot, which makes filming anything but urban not worth your time.

No it can't, even for just a park shoot. There 'big' jumps are what 60 feet? They build jumps bigger than that in Brecks public park. There isn't enough snow, there aren't big enough mountains. Maybe saying some of the worst was over the top, but it isn't good.
