Question on being nutted

alright bear wiith me on this one

does nutting actually hurt? in some edits and movies ive seen kids get nutted in the bloopers and then just get right off and it would seem it didint hurt at all.

i kinow stupid question but can i get your opinion?

It looks like it doesn't hurt because 95 percent of the time when it looks like you got nutted you really just hit your leg up there really hard.

yeah like most people have said, most times you just get your thighs or ass raped, but there was one time where i pretty much got my nuts between my body and a metal rail, that hurt.

Getting nutted is one of the things I worry about most when skiing. Probably will happen next year when I try 270s on and pretzels. I hope not though.

most of the time you land with you ass on the rail, however, if you are turning up the hill instead of down the hill then you do what I call the switch nut, which actually does end with your nuts getting crushed, and then usually you get thrown around when you get to the end of the rail too.

I "nutted" myself on a 6 foot high rail this season, but I fell more backwards so I more assed myself then nutted. I was a round rail that was pretty wide so it wasn't that bad. Also on another time I nutted on a flat-down and fell just after the highest part on an angle and hit my calf/shin and just had a bruise for a while.

It hurts...  best way to avoid it if you've got one leg on each side of the rail is to squish your legs together and slamp your haands down between your legs.  Hands and thighs hurt but its better than loosing a ball or two.

It hurts even more if the rail has one of those little flat parts on the end that kick you up.  Try not to nut and slide into that...

yes it does.  i've been pretty lucky most of the time, just bruised thighs, but its very possible.
Stupid question here, but would it be too mouch of a pussy move to wear a cup?  Yes, its not very "ballsy", but in all seriousness, I would like to have children. 
Also, a lot of urban crashes look nasty, partially becuase you're falling on metal/concrete stairs, but also because the rails are often held up by a few vertical bars.  You can catch a ski or a pole and really get wrapped up in it that way.    Any way to avoid that?

a kid at our skatepark nutted a rail and died. not even joking. he had like some kind of heart condition that acted up to the trauma or something and he died. it was terrible.
