Meh. Remember, he's not anywhere that requisits super shredding. Mainly he's going to be on rails and jibbing around, and the Wall is not a jibbing ski.
Anthems would not be a bad choice. My cousin loves his 178s and rides em everywhere - park, pow, crud, you name it. He's about 5'10 and 165 lbs I think.
Yes, the Anthems are a soft ski, but think of what you're doing - you're jibbing around in Pennsylvania where the jumps aren't huge but the rails are plentiful and there is much fun to be had jibbing and fooling around...am I right? The anthems are a perfect ski for that. I'm about your size, maybe 10 pounds lighter, and I was considering getting anthems.
