Ok so this Dolly set is really sick! Used it several times, got sick shots, mostly used outside of skiing considering I did alot of shoots for school, but gives you a super smooth shot. The crane has also been used mostly outside of skiing.
The crane goes up to 14 ft at tallest height unless your Tripod is set higher ( I HIGHLY reccomend you make sure your tripod can support atleast 15-20 lbs. Though I have shot on ones that support less.
It does not include the weights.
The dolly itself, is a metal peice, super strong and easy to assemble, and smoother than your homemade kits, NO SMOOTHCAM needed. The track is uniquely assembled pipes that make up a total of 15ft, but if you want longer lengths can be purchased at BandH.
I have 2 2500 Watt lights as well, both with two individual lights placed on them (not pictured) lights are what they are....Bulbs are new and replaced!
If someone is also interested I'm selling a 509 HDv Head Bogen Manfrotto Tripod to go along with the kit, i've used it for the Crane and dolly many times. Only problem with the tripod is that one of the leg stoppers for one of the legs is popped out, and that leg will go out farther than the others, but its very easy to prevent this, and it has never caused a problem for me while filming.
Generator was sold separately already.
Now the breakdown, this kit was worth over 1000 when I got it all. At this point, I imagine shipping all of it would be quite unique, but possible, and the charges for shipping would have to be assesed if I received a serious offer. I am going in to the ARMY and will not be needing these things anymore, so I'm not looking for trades/gear/doughnuts etc. Simply looking to get this to someone who is going to get out, work hard and kill it with this gear! Im simply looking for money to help me survive until I ship off.
I'm in Colorado, so if you're in CO, meeting half way is an option possibly.
At this point I'm accepting offers (please be REASONABLE, no low balling) and after I receive several will try to figure out the average price and put it up and so on!
Thanks for the Help guys! I hope this gear can help someone else into an awesome career! Its alot of fun, and well worth the time it takes!
