Replying to Line Skis Conclusion
Last yeah i had a pair of lines. It was my second year on them, and throughout the year,my edges cracked,i redrilled, and they snapped. Now the snapping is by no means lines fault, because my old holes were filled in pretty badly. The edges cracked, but so what, i railed for a year before anything even looked wrong with my edges, Plus, i was new to grinding, so that didn't help. Anyways, I bitched about how line's construction sucks and about how their skis just don't hold up compaired to other compainies, like most people who hate on line in this forum. So i bought a pair of Scratches this year, guess what? Topsheets look worst now, than my lines looked after 2 years of abuse. My edges are hella scratched, and i can grind easily now, and chunks come off the sidewalls of my skis, and my other friends skis (which are also rossis) I've concluded that everyone who hates on line, has either only ridden Line,or have never owned lines. 2005 im deffinatly going back to Line, because they are the shit, hands down, for flex, and overall feeling on the snow, and their construction is up to par with most ski compainies, if not better.
