that was pretty ill dude... what was the song?

all the shots were pretty well filmed, some of the fisheye shots were a little shakey but what are you gonna do. the colors were nice and most of the shots were exposed really we. (just watch the dust or w.e on your lens when you are shootin into the sun) the doubles part at the end was pretty sick, would have been nice to see some more of that...

thanks guys i appreciate it, yeah i forgot to turn of steady shot for those 2 clips, and the shutter was messed up on one clip. As far as color correcting, i just added a little bit of saturation because im still getting used to it and all. Subsribe! Because there are more videos to come!

Stop filming with a fisheye it looks terrible. You did one dope ass shot of a flat rail kind of follow next to him slowly, thats that bomb shit, fuck fisheyes.

Yeah, but fisheyes are kind of what you use for skateboarding, it always has been, the following experience..idk how to put it. ill try more long lens though, i agree i dont like a super big amount of fisheye.

instead of using useless analogies that don't apply, why don't you realize that pretty much every skate film that has ever been made (yes, even professional big-name brand movies, who would've thought!) uses fisheye...sooo explain what a mainstream cinematographer's view has to do with skate filming, and why you think they'd have that sort of input on a skate film, which has nothing to do with their line of work. in fact there are other reasons why fisheye is useful (i.e. making things look bigger, keeping the skater in the frame during followcams, etc.). my honest opinion is that fisheye looks bad for skiing, so i can see where eheath gets his opinion but this is skateboarding, not skiing.

Skateboard filmers are too lazy to work for a properly composed and framed shot most of the time.

How does it look good to have fucking vig infront of your lense?  Fisheyes have their place....that place is not much. 

Anyways my critiques.

-stop going for that "Gold3n VX T1nt!
-white balance off white, and white balance as much as possible.  if your lighting changes then it's time to white balance again.

Ok so I re weatched and your colors are all over the place.  Some shots are super golden and over saturated and then others look good.  Just try to be consistent with your settings and keep filming because it was a fun watch!

making a film is  making a film, you still have to compose and think about the shot, but skate filmers seem to think that a fisheye lets them get away with not having to do all this, and insted just expose white balance and shoot. and if every skate film is doing this dont you think its time for something new, like actually thinking your shots through?

IHateOhio, i understand what you mean about the colors, yes it was my first edit using this camera and lens, so please relax a little about that. Also, skateboarding filming standard is a vx1000 with a mk1 fish eye, and yes they know how to compose a shot, watch some descent filming and you will understand, so stop assuming...

not everyone likes dolly shot after dolly shot, it gets repetitive. And yeah the fisheye puts out its own vig. i dont choose to use vig, get some knowledge and get back to me honestly.

How about a tripod?  nooooope.  too lazy eh?  I don't get what looks good about shakey freehand shots.

You choose to use "a super wide fisheye man!"  like most skaters do.  Yeah it's wide.  Yeah it's easy to fit the rider in frame.

Atleast use a fisheye with no VIG.

A fisheye without VIG can be amazing, but that's a rare site.  It also should be used more than just pointing it up at the person.  So annoying.  Fisheyes have their place, but NOT in every shot.  VIG is unacceptable.  Why do you want some shit in front of your lense?!
