Replying to 2009 Blends

I can get some 2009 Blends (183) for about $219....I then noticed that the 2010 model (which is not yet available) is almost half the weight (5lbs lighter).

I know some people complain about the blends weight and stiffness, but I'm not sure if it's so bad that I should wait for the 2010's...

I currently ski the Line Chronic Wides 187. Love the ski, completely bomb-poof, but it's time for an upgrade... I can't seem to find any old spec's to see if they are heaver or lighter then the Blends...

Any thoughts?
