okay, so we have ridiculous tricks, like huge double corks, the steeziest kangs, double rodeos, switch 14's/16s (harlaut)

what do you guys think is gonna be next seasons ridiculous trick? spins, flips, whatever.

This is the new trick for 09. There are 4 shots of it in this edit i just made for it.

I call it the "Diddy Bop". You jump on, grind about halfway, then hop and then either front 2 or back 2 out.

what you recognized is a yo-yo. after seeing ian compton pole bounce off a rail, mid pretzel, nick started working the pole bounce off his ski. eventually he did it in a 360, which i dont even think he could do again. it may lookk like a bad 360 to a newb, but nick 180s, then stalls long enough to do the yo-yo, then 180's to stomp. prolly not a banger, but classic nlsteeze.

Actually I dont think thats something new, but I may be wrong:

Dub flat 9 >> Isnt this a kangaroo flip?
Pretzel 6 >> LJ Strenio did one this preseason
Switch dub cork 10 (many variations) >> Chug can do his in both directions

I dont think those tricks are new.

yea i know ian cosco and some others did some dub cork 12's in the joss edits and stuff.

screemin seemin spins? like... more than just a 3?

and yea and i get what yuo mean about more things like kangs, pretzel 6's, stuff like that. it being less of a rare trick.

stylie single cork 12 opposite tails, hopfully forward rodeo 10s will make some waves, dub cork 7s would be sick (cork 3 to cork 3) 50-50s are for sure comming back (270 switch up will be illll)

I think we'll see a few more switch doubles.  And defintily more double corks with low spins, like a cork 3 to a cork 5.

Definitly doubles are gunna be brought to the backcountry.

As for urbans, we'll see more creative stuff, more urban jumps, strange wall rides, handplants and just unique stuff.  I think theres gunna be a lot more 'going up rails' and more building.  Like film crews are gunna add rails and bonks to urban stuff, not just ride whats there.

As for rails, anything could happen.  Maybe more Will Wesson style stuff, I know I'm gunna attempt some of those things next year.  But definitly more of those hops and nollies that Hornbeck is doing.  Rollerblade grinds, 5050s and one footers will become more accepted and mainstream.  I'm still waiting to seem some grabs and crosses on rails.

ok can i just say somethins, okay

this thread is about what most skiers will be doing next year when someone says something dont respond with this has already been done by so and so wtf thats not EVERYONE

but i do not think triple flips because those are just asking for death i do think bigger switch spins more tech grabs more tech rail tricks (like tc guys) more skiers will be doing doubles cause there are many that i believe cannot and those guys that already have doubles on lock will do switch doubles and those guys with switch doubles will go switch double w/ tech grab the list just continues
