how do i get a 12"..im a n00b. what is that?
I suggest going on acapella databases like www.acapellas4u.co.uk
If you really want to DIY, the best way is described in many Youtube videos, just type in DIY acapella in the search bar
That technique implies that you use an instrumental of the track and the normal version (vocals + instru). You then reverse the soundwaves of the instru (kinda make a negative of it) and add it to the normal track (vocals + instru). The "negative" instrumental will subract the sound from the normal version of the track you have, and the only sound you'll get will be the vocals. I highly suggest that you watch tutorials.
You'll need a program like Adobe Audition to do that.
Hope it helped!
